![]() Hiking to Pedra Bonita |
|
Pedra Bonita is one of the most beautiful places within the Tijuca Forest area. A half hour hike leads to its summit, that offers a great view of the sea, São Conrado neighborhood, Barra da Tijuca and the Tijuca Forest Park. It is an easy to moderate hike, across a very old trail done by slaves centuries ago. Along the way, if we get lucky, we will be able to see local animals such as the Sagui monkeys, and the Cappuccin (Prego) monkeys. Raccons, tucans, parrots and even soaths, are other animals that may be seen during course. But remember, it is not a Zoo !! We can not guarantee that you will see all of these animals, but with enough luck, at least a couple of species can be spotted. On the way down, a quick stop at the Hang Gliding ramp just to check on those amazing take offs !! Program: The activity takes 3 hours. Minimum age required: 14 Included: Transportation, guiding service. Tips: Wear comfortable shoes, bring drinking water along, wear sunblock, a hat and sunglasses for sunny days. And don`t forget your camera ! Departures: Under request. Price: Contact: |
